Dustin Diamond, who played Screech in “Saved by the Bell,” Star Hospitalized Over Cancer Concern in Florida, TMZ reported.
His team told the site that the 44-year-old actor had been suffering from pain all over his body. Now, doctors are conducting tests to find out what is wrong. Sources say it could be cancer, so doctors performed a biopsy.
TMZ says Diamond’s family has a history of cancer, The actor lost her mother to breast cancer and is said to have undergone a biopsy to determine her condition.
Diamond is not part of the Peacock reboot of “Saved by the Bell” which premiered in November. He was present at “Saved by the Bell” from 1989-1993, and in the spin-offs “Saved by the Bell: The College Years” (1993-1994) and “Saved by the Bell: The New Class” (1994- 2000)). He was also a Screech in the TV drama “Saved by Bell: Marriage in Las Vegas” (1994).
